Class Overview

This is a hands-on summer baking class built for late afternoon and all the good things that go with it. We’ll make two cakes, one bright and jammy with summer fruit, the other chocolate with swirled frosting, along with savory sharp cheddar scones and fresh butter from scratch. It’s the kind of spread that feels generous and a little special without turning into a whole production.

What You'll Learn

How to make an upside-down fruit cake with a tender crumb and jammy top, how to build a one-bowl chocolate snacking cake with swirled chocolate frosting, how to make savory scones with real flavor, and how to turn cream into fresh butter from scratch.
